Item description: Repurposed from a cigar box, this one of a kind piece can be used to store jewelry, small odds and ends, or it can simply be displayed on a shelf. Its unique patina was achieved using bronze, fashion pewter and gold paint, giving it a multi-tone effect. The lovely image of a Victorian era lady in a hat adorns the top and is surrounded by an intricate gold frame. The box was finished with decorative metal feet and opens and closes by sliding. The interior is lined in felt and decorated with gold glass beads.

Materials: My decorative boxes are constructed out of wood and may feature clay molds and other embellishments such as metal or paper. All paint is water-based acrylic. This particular piece was sealed with a protective enamel coating.
