The initials stand for fashion “Hand Made Indian Jewelry,” and was sold by the Gilbert Ortega, jewelry stores. The inlay is typical of a style first used in the 1970's. It takes crumbled turquoise and, or coral and inlays it with epoxy, before being ground and polished flat. It's a hands piece.
