Leaping Herne Cernunnos with Stang fashion Wiccan Covered Jar Butter Dish Lidded Storage Jar

A leaping Herne god design on the lid, the wild Horned God Cernunnos holding his athame in one hand and the Celtic torc in the other. He is incised in green slip, on a back ground of white with stars. Glazed with my wood ash glaze, it has two small lugs to decorate the sides.

Everyone loves lidded jars, and this one is functional and decorative. This jar is 7.75 inches fashion wide by 3.5 inches high. It takes two hands to lift the lid, because I wanted that circle for pure decoration! Use as a small serving or cheese dish, or as a butter dish I put two sticks in it. It is a great altar piece for incense supplies or storing whatever is special to you!
