Vintage fashion Late 1930s I Magnin & Co Ransleigh Black Tilt Hat

Great vintage late 1930s to early 1940s tilt hat in black woven straw or raffia. It has both an I Magnin Ranleigh and New York Creations label inside. Hat is made to sit on top of the head at an angle and does not pull down onto the head. It is in excellent vintage condition however the braided head strap broke in back and will need to be replaced so I discounted the hat slightly. Doesn't come with a veil but you could easily add one if desired. This was a high end hat when it was new. It would be easy fashion to jazz it up a bit by adding a colorful feather or brooch. Everyone needs a "basic" black tilt hat IMO!
