Peruvian, Latin American Folk Art fashion Gossiping Ladies Pottery Clay Whistle

This whimsical pottery hand painted folk art whistle features 6 ladies involved in a great deal of gossiping. The facial expressions and use of their hands are wonderful details. There is a small hole in the side of one of the skirts--when you blow into it you get the whistle noise. This collectible piece of Peruvian pottery is approximately 6 inches high and 5 inches wide. There is one small chip on the brim of one of the hats (see second photo). It is in otherwise wonderful vintage condition, which is amazing considering the detail of the six fashion figures. This is a fun and collectible piece of Latin American art pottery.
