First Edition, First printing of the book that started it all! 1st edition matte hardcover of Dr. Seuss' 1st classic!!! Overall, I'd say it's in pretty good shape for a 64 year old fashion CHILDRENS BOOK! Good/fair condition, overall. Inside pages are in EXCELLENT condition with no writing, no smudges, no marks, no tears, no creases. Pages have square and crisp corners. Appears to have been read very little, if at all. Binding is in good shape, pages are still fairly tight. Cover is a bit worn and has some clear tape (that I'm not touching). Corners are a little dinged. Fantastic find for any collector!!!!
