Vintage fashion Porcelain Royal Worcester Egg Coddlers. This pair of coddlers is adorned with a wren on one side and a pair of cole tits on the other. This design was introduced in the 1970s and is now discontinued. These coddlers are in excellent condition. The cups measure 2.5" in height and 3.5" in height with lid. Top opening is 1.5" and is designed to cook one egg. Visit the Museum of Royal Worcester for the official recipe for coddled eggs. These looks as if they have never been used. The covers fit securely. The "Royal Worcester Porcelain, Made in England" stamp is clearly marked on bottom. Color, type of stamp and the pattern dates it to the 1970s.
