Life Magazine, Marilyn Monroe Cover, fashion Nov. 9, 1959

We are pleased to offer for sale this vintage copy of LIFE magazine that dates back to November 9, 1959 and features a color photo of Marilyn Monroe on the cover. The photo was part of a photo gallery the magazine did of different celebrities jumping for the camera. Inside, photographer Philippe Halsman photograpched the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Thomas E. Dewey, J. Robert Oppenheimer, Vice President Nixon, Adlai E. Stevenson, Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn, Monroe and Brigitte Bardot (to name a few). There is also a 12 page article with many color photos on artist, Jackson Pollack. The magazine is in very good condition with all pages intact, secure binding and great fashion cover
