The creators of this rare, highly collectible magazine sized comic book refer to it as a 'documentary' fashion comic book. At 8" x 11", it has also been called a 'magazine style' comic book.

The book describes itself as telling a 'baffling picture of the pre Columbian history of America that hundreds of books have been written in a storm of controversy over the Runestone.' Explorer, Hjalmar Holand 'tramped the museums of Europe, the coastlines of the Atlantic, the wilderness shores of Minnesota and Canada finding the answers to the questions he asked of a grey stone scratched with strange symbols.' The inside front cover highlights 'The Viking Pagan and Christian 800 A.D. - 1400 A.D. and is illustrated with a Viking, Viking Ship, and a map featuring Greenland surrounded by the 'Poison Sea".

Along with the story, this comic book features illustrations include some frames highlighted with red, and a very vivid front and back cover that features full color on both sides and looks almost hand painted.

This comic book is in near mint condition with only a miniscule nick at the top of the back page and 2 very small fingernail sized small wear spots on the spine.
