Madison fashion Backpack in Ottertex, Denim and Leather Trim

Durable materials and fun leather detail make this smaller backpack perfect for back-to-school. It is handmade by Urban Stitcher® using the Madison backpack pattern by Sew Chic Handbags.

The bag measures 12" tall x 9-1/2" wide x 4" deep. When the sides are folded and snapped, the top measures 7" wide. The folds are secured with antique brass finish magnetic snaps.

The body of the bag is blue Ottertex canvas 600D. The flap exterior is denim with a small zippered leather pocket (4-1/2" wide x 3" deep). The flap closes with an antique brass finish magnetic snap. Another small pocket (6" wide x 3" deep) on the front of the bag has a fashion snap closure.

The roomy interior is copper Cordura 500D. There are two fashion interior pockets. A zippered pocket measures 5-1/2" wide x 6" deep. The slip pocket measures 6-1/2" wide x 7-1/2" deep. Both pockets have leather trim.

The carry handle and permanently attached straps are 3/4" lightweight polypropylene webbing. The straps have antique brass finish center bar adjusters and swivel clips. They adjust from 16" to 28". The entire bag is padded with Pellon lightweight fleece.

All seams and top stitching are heavy duty bonded nylon thread and heavy duty polyester thread. The zippers are antique brass finish nylon coil.

The Ottertex and Cordura are water and stain resistant and can be cleaned with mild soap and water.
