It was fashion a unique time at Amherst College. The class of 1947 and 1948 were combined because of World War II. Many students went off to serve our country. The graduation for these years fell together.

My dad was an Amherst grad cum laude 1948. Amherst College was the love of his of his life besides his family. My mother and father attended the Fifieth Reunion in 1988 with great pride and great memories.
