80’s Leslie Lucks Peplum Waist Jacket fashion and Pencil Skirt Suit

This 80's skirt suit is straight out of Designing Women! (If you don't recognize the title, Google 80's sitcoms. I'm old!) It is in excellent vintage condition with no stains or tears. The fabric has thinned slightly, but these pieces were obviously well cared for.

Both pieces are marked as a 12. Based on the measurements and the fit on my mannequin, I estimate the skirt to be closer to a modern 10. I estimate that the jacket is consistent with a modern 12. As always, please take your measurements or measure a similar garment that fits you well for comparison.
